The Magnificat Choir has four recording under our former name, all available on CD. These albums were recorded in the loft of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The songs found in these albums represent a small portion of the Choir's extensive repertoire.

Magnificat (2024)Magnificat (Signum Records) is the choir's fifth album, and the first one recorded under the ensemble's new name- Magnificat Choir. This is the first professional (Five/Four Productions) choral recording to feature the stunning Murdy Damily Pipe Organ built by Paul Fritts & Co Organ Builders for the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. It higlihts new compositions and arrangements written specifically for the choir by amazing contemporary female composers. |
Cantica (2016)Cantica is the fourth CD by the Magnificat Choir( formerly the Women's Liturgical Choir.) It was recorded in 2015-2016 in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart under the direction of Mr. Daniel Bayless. Cantica was released in November of 2016 and includes many WLC favorites by a variety of composers both classical and modern. |
